Greystack Cellars is a small boutique wine label that uses only Estate grapes from the Bennett Valley Appellation. This area has a long and cherished history of growing exceptional wines. The climate of the valley is special and owes its cool coastal influence to the Petaluma Gap which flows into Sonoma Mountain during warm Summer days and cools down the vines each night. Three mountains make up the boundary for the AVA these include Mt. Taylor, Bennett Peak and Sonoma Mountain. These different mountains each have different micro climates. These micro climates allow us to grow outstanding Sauvignon Blanc from a cool spot at the base of Mt. Taylor as well as exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our Four Brothers Vineyard high on Sonoma Mountain.

Greystack Cellars is run by Patrick Sullivan who grew up in Bennett Valley and has over 20 years of experience in winemaking from Napa and Sonoma Counties. He has been instrumental with the management of the Four Brothers Vineyard since he helped is family plant it in 2000. The wines produced from the Four Brothers Vineyard are the result of the passion and vision that began many years ago. Chris Bowland is our vineyard manager and partner and manages the Dry Stack Vineyard which is home to our Sauvignon Blanc grapes. He has over 25 years of experience and through his vineyard management business has been responsible for managing more vineyards in the Bennett Valley AVA than anyone.
